How Our Network Works
Request an estimate
Who you will talk to
Wwwcaptel Walk-In Tubs does not have staff who visit your home. After you send a request, an independent provider from our network reaches out. That provider is a separate local business. They run the visit, write the quote and do the work.
What a provider may ask you
Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider give a fair quote.
- What type of project do you have in mind?
- What is the size of your bathroom?
- Is there a basement or crawl space below it?
- What is your current tub or shower like?
- Who will use it, and do they use a walker or chair?
- When would you like the work done?
Photos and a few measurements can speed things up. This is a good job for you to do yourself.
Questions worth asking a provider
A written quote should be easy to read. Compare before you commit. These questions help:
- What is included, and what costs extra?
- Will you check the old plumbing, and what if it needs work?
- How is the wall or floor prepared and sealed?
- What happens if you find hidden damage?
- How long will the work take, and could weather change it?
- What warranty comes from the maker, and what comes from you?
- Are you licensed and insured here? Can I see proof?
You stay in charge
You do not have to accept any quote. Talk to more than one provider if you like. Take your time with the paperwork. Plan around the seasons too. Cold snaps and storms can shift schedules, so ask early.
